Safe Lifting & Moving with Mechanical LIfts
Our team works closely with a team of professional healthcare providers such as Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to assist residents requiring special care.
Our staff members are professionally trained to safely use & transfer residents using a mechanical lift and to assist them with all activities of daily living.
In a small home-like atmosphere, residents receive quality, high levels of care. Mechanical lifts are available in each one of our floors for the convenience and comfort of our residents.
Mechanical lifts are used to move those who are unable to stand on their own or whose weight makes it unsafe to move or lift them manually.
The use of mechanical lifts in our residence is most commonly used for residents recovering after a stroke, severe injuries and or due to progressive illnesses such as MS (Multiple Sclerosis) , Parkinson’s Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington’s Disease, or Cerebral Palsy.
